The Company has received additional demand from a strategic investor to invest £190,000 by way of a conditional subscription for 475,000 new ordinary shares. The net proceeds from the Additional Subscription will, together with the net proceeds from the Fundraising, be used for CAPEX, people (engineering, software and business development) and working capital for expansion.

Proposed Placing and Subscription

Andy Beaden, Chairman, Velocity, said "This well subscribed fundraise is a key step forward in the development of Velocity into a substantial business. The funds enable us to grow faster and add additional skilled staff in the aerospace composites market. Leading aerospace composite material kits supplier Velocity Composites has announced its entry into the US market with the signing of an agreement with GKN Aerospace expected to be worth more than $100 million of revenue over five years.
